Open houses

Our Open House Days in 2012 will be the third Saturday of the month from May thrpugh September:

• May 19

• June 16

• July 21

• August 18

• September 15

All run from 10am to 4pm.

Individual visits can be scheduled by appointment. Call 603-659-2993.

 

Other Events

 

• June 29th at the North Hill Symposium, being held this year at the White House Inn in Wilmington, Vt. The topic this year is The Autumn Garden with well known speakers, including Page Dickey, Dan Hinckley, Fergus Garrett, and Gary Koller, and hosted by Joe Eck. We will be a vendor there displaying some of our art.

• May 21: Bedrock Gardens will be the focus, for the second time, of a class by OLLI [Osher Lifelong Learning Institude] at Granite State College, with a two hour walk around and education of a group of bright alert group of mature learners, with Jill Nooney as a docent.

• March 14: Jill will be giving a presentation to the Old York Garden Club on Bedrock Gardens, its deveopment, horticulture, and art.

Groups will be visiting for tours, including:

• The Lincoln Garden Club, and the Merrimack Garden Club.

Other Items of Interest:

• Ongoing. Barefoot Books www.barefoot-books.com, a store within FAO Schwartz, on Fifth Ave in NYC, is designed by Edie Twining www.twiningdesign.com, and liberally uses our finials, ornaments and decorations. This year they opened a store in Oxford England, with more art by FGA including a Chinese dragon. The picture on the right shows it on the wall above the entrance.
